furnishings, painting, Gov. Harold Hoffman’s elephant collection, and antique farm equipment.

Jane Voorhees Zimmerli Art Museum

 

Jane Voorhees Zimmerli Art Museum-Besides the many exhibitions at the museum, the

Museum offers many programs, such as First Thursdays, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. on the

first Thursday of every month, where you can take part in special programs from the sublimely scholarly to the sensational.  Admission to First Thursdays is free.  Call for information.
In addition the museum offers Spotlight Tours every Sunday from 2:00-2:30 p.m. and 3:00-
3:30 p.m., and Storytelling for young visitors (ages 3 and up) and their adult friends from 10:30-11:30 on the second Thursday of the month, and from 1:30-2:30 p.m. on the third Saturday of the month.  The museum offers many programs for adults and for children. The Wonder Wing - Innovative play for ages 6 and under
 the Becker Children’s Wing:  SOMEBODY! How it works

This interactive exhibition takes visitors on an adventurous passage through the human body. 

Explore the senses inside a model of the brain.  Crawl through the heart and learn how blood is    oxygenated in the lungs.  Get familiar with digestion by entering the mouth, climbing over the

tongue, and taking a slide into the stomach where the process is described in sights and sounds.

Throughout, the need for good health habits is stressed.

The Monmouth Museum’s traditional model train display returns to amaze young and old alike.

Battleship New Jersey

 

The Battleship New Jersey  - our Nation’s most decorated battleship, is now a floating museum on the Delaware River, along the Camden Waterfront across from Center City, Philadelphia
Open April 1 – September 30 from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
and October 1 – March 31 from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Admission:  $10.00 for adults, $7.00 for children under 12
$7.00 for senior citizens and veterans with valid identification
Active members of the military in uniform will be admitted free of charge.
Group rates are available for groups of 20 or more.  Please call for detailed information
The Battleship New Jersey is located in Camden on the east bank of the Delaware River.
 It is next to the New Jersey State Aquarium.
